The Pillars of Hercules in Antigua & Barbuda are an unusual natural limestone formation at the mouth of Antigua’s English Harbour, near to Galleon Beach. The “pillars” are shaped by relentless wave and wind action over millennia. The waters near the Pillars are fantastic for snorkelling — including by sea scooter! Here, turtles, rays, and a maddeningly beautiful array of tropical fish dart between corals and emerge from shipwrecks.
